- Vision out the kind of wardrobe you want to build.
To do this, ask yourself the following questions: “What kind of lifestyle am I leading?” “What style do I prefer?” Ponder on these things and jot them down so you won't forget. This help you determine the kind of clothes you'll want to keep or to buy.
- Discard items that don't give you joy.
Once you've mentally visioned the kind of style you want to emulate, it's time to discard. Remove all clothes from your closet and put them in front of you.
Then take a good look at each of your items and feel it within you whether or not a top or skirt sparks joy, or whether or not they complement your lifestyle.
If they don't, then decide whether to throw or donate them.
The reason for this is it's easier to let go of the things that you don't love. Also, when you're surrounded with the things you love, you'll feel joy and gratitude in your heart just like when you're with your family and friends.
- Divide and conquer your closet.
Classify the remaining items left on your closet. Is this top your favorite? Can this be worn for special occasions? Does this flatter my body type and compliments my skin type?
Create another pile for casual and everyday needs and take note of what’s missing. Doing so will guide you as you do your spring clothes shopping.
As for seasonal clothes, just place them at the far end of the closet but can still be seen for future use.

Just imagine a line going up, and that's how you arrange your clothes. In this manner, this will help create a happy vibe for your closet.
